Short and gentle route that allows us to sample the hidden spots, Mediterranean vegetation and traditional architecture in les Gavarres taking a promenade around its northern slopes.
Our journey begins in the small town of Sant Pol, from there we walk towards Can Puignau, an impressive traditional Catalan house (called Mas) from the XIII th century, well preserved and restored. From here we dive into the shade to reach the quiet and cool place where the thirteenth-century chapel of Santa Llúcia de l’Arboç can be found.
To go back to Sant Pol, GR 92-1 must be taken. It goes along a gentle ridge overlooking the plain of el Daró and with views to el Puig d’Arques.
